We’re deep in fantasy basketball playoffs, and every matchup matters more than ever. Whether you’re in daily or weekly formats, maximizing productive player-games is crucial. Each day brings lightly rostered players getting bigger roles and producing like starters. Here are waiver-wire targets to consider as you push for the finish line.
Point Guard
– Scoot Henderson, PG, Portland Trail Blazers (14.5% rostered): Henderson has four straight double-digit scoring games, averaging 20.3 PPG, 3.8 3PG and 3.0 APG in 24.8 minutes off the bench over that span.
– Ajay Mitchell, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder (37.8% rostered): Returning from a long injury layoff, Mitchell has averaged 16.7 PPG and 4.0 APG in 28.7 minutes across his first three games back.
Shooting Guard
– Quentin Grimes, SG, Philadelphia 76ers (38.1% rostered): With Philadelphia’s stars out, Grimes has emerged as a primary scoring option. He has scored at least 23 points in four of his last six games and averaged 29.5 PPG in his most recent two.
– Cody Williams, SG, Utah Jazz (3.8% rostered): Williams has taken a clear step forward over the last couple of weeks — six straight games scoring double figures, a points/rebounds double-double, several multi-assist outings, and a career-best 34 points with seven rebounds and seven assists in a recent explosion.
Small Forward
– Brice Sensabaugh, SF, Utah Jazz (25.6% rostered): Sensabaugh has started four straight for Utah and scored at least 21 in each, averaging 25.8 PPG with 4.3 three-point attempts made, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals/blocks across that stretch.
– Gui Santos, SF, Golden State Warriors (26.3% rostered): Santos has been a reliable scoring presence for the Warriors, starting six straight and averaging 17.5 PPG, 6.7 RPG and 5.0 APG over that run.
Power Forward
– Jarace Walker, PF, Indiana Pacers (17.4% rostered): Since moving into the starting lineup on Feb. 11, Walker has averaged 15.0 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 3.9 APG and 1.9 three-point makes in 31.2 minutes across 14 games.
– Jerami Grant, PF, Portland Trail Blazers (46.8% rostered): Grant has been Portland’s most consistent healthy scorer lately, posting at least 20 points in nine of 11 games and averaging 2.9 made threes in that span.
Center
– Wendell Carter Jr., C, Orlando Magic (30.2% rostered): Carter has been steady all season and recently bumped both scoring and rebounding. Over his last three games he’s averaged 15.0 PPG and 10.0 RPG, plus roughly three combined threes, blocks and steals per game.
– Maxime Raynaud, C, Sacramento Kings (33.1% rostered): Raynaud has posted either 20+ points or 10+ rebounds in 10 of his last 13 games, averaging 15.6 PPG and 9.7 RPG. He and Precious Achiuwa (40.9% rostered) form a productive frontcourt duo for the Kings.
If you need depth for the playoff stretch, these players are worth monitoring or adding depending on your roster construction and league settings.
