The 10th Sunday of the NFL season included an overtime thriller in Germany with Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor nearly reaching 50 fantasy points, a strong early-afternoon performance from New England Patriots rookie Drake Maye, and a late afternoon game in which Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford threw four TDs for a record third straight game.
Not everything was positive: New York Jets WR Garrett Wilson and Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore were held without a fantasy point, Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold produced just 4.92 fantasy points, Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson scored only 2.8 points, and New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart left his game after rushing for two TDs because of a concussion and may miss Week 11.
Each Monday, before the current NFL weekend ends, we identify players available in at least 50% of ESPN standard leagues who deserve attention, across formats and deeper options. The NFL is a weekly game and roles change rapidly. It doesn’t matter how you add players — only that you add them.
Quarterback
Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals (33.3% rostered): Returning from a bye against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Flacco previously threw for 342 yards and three TDs in a 33-31 win over Pittsburgh and has averaged about 25 fantasy points across his last four games. If your starter hasn’t matched that production, Flacco is worth a look.
J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings (49.6%): McCarthy is inconsistent, but he managed 14.72 points in Sunday’s loss thanks to 48 rushing yards. He faces the Bears in Week 11; he scored 22.22 in their season opener and could produce again.
Deep-league options/streamers/random thoughts:
– Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers (5.9%): Filled in and posted 23.06 points against the Rams. Brock Purdy’s return (toe) remains uncertain.
– Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals (17.4%): Will keep starting while Kyler Murray is on IR; scored 19.42 in Sunday’s loss and draws the 49ers.
– Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders (11.5%): Performed respectably in a blowout loss and is a reasonable Week 11 option against Miami.
– Davis Mills, Houston Texans (2.4%): Came in for C.J. Stroud and led the position with 27.68 points. If Stroud (concussion) can’t go vs. the Titans, Mills is a streamer to consider.
Running back
Trey Benson, Arizona Cardinals (49.9%): Still on IR with a knee issue and not practicing, Benson was expected back by now. Emari Demercado led the backfield recently, but Benson remains the draft pick the team prefers long-term and should be added when healthy.
Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons (27.8%): Allgeier rushed for two TDs in OT loss to the Colts and gets volume typical of a top backup. He’s shown four double-digit PPR games but has also been invisible in others. Matchup-friendly upcoming slate (Panthers, Saints, Jets) makes him worth consideration.
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans (37.9%): Coming off a bye against the Texans, Spears has been getting double-digit touches and has outscored starter Tony Pollard in three of the past four games. He’s trending up and is rosterable in deeper formats.
Deep-league options/streamers/random thoughts:
– Devin Singletary, New York Giants (10.3%): Timeshare with Tyrone Tracy Jr. continues; Singletary remains somewhat available and useful in certain matchups.
– Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs (47.9%): Could see a bigger role if Isiah Pacheco (knee) isn’t fully healthy vs. the Broncos. Not a must-play, but playable in some leagues.
– Brian Robinson Jr., San Francisco 49ers (21.2%): Has scored rushing TDs in back-to-back weeks; usable for touchdown upside.
Wide receiver
Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (27.9%): With Emeka Egbuka the bigger rookie name, Johnson (late-round pick) has carved out a role. He scored two receiving TDs on five targets and has averaged about 13.3 fantasy points across five games. Chris Godwin Jr.’s (leg) status remains uncertain.
Mack Hollins, New England Patriots (0.6%): Barely talked about early, Hollins has broken out in recent weeks (seven catches for 89 yards in Week 8, six for 106 on Sunday). With Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) out, Hollins is relevant for now.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars (16.9%): Expected to play bigger with Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) and Travis Hunter (knee) out. He scored a sideline TD and returned a punt for a score Sunday and could be productive again vs. the Chargers.
Deep-league options/streamers/random thoughts:
– Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts (36.5%): Deep threat has produced multiple notable outings (18.4 points on Sunday). Colts are on bye Week 11, but Pierce is worth adding for future weeks.
– Jalen Nailor, Minnesota Vikings (0.5%): Caught five for 124 yards and a TD on Sunday; only worth rostering if Jefferson or Addison miss time.
Tight end
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans (27%): Quiet early in the season, Schultz has delivered double-digit fantasy points in four of five games and caught 11 targets from Davis Mills in Sunday’s comeback win. He’s a solid add regardless of who’s at QB for Houston.
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (34.8%): Also started slowly but now has four of five games with double-digit points. He posted season highs (nine catches, 82 yards, 12 targets) on Sunday and should remain a reliable target share.
Deep-league options/streamers/random thoughts:
– Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (35.2%): Has four straight double-digit fantasy outings and scored 19.2 in Week 10, but the Saints are on bye Week 11.
Bye weeks: To drop or not to drop?
Only two teams have byes in Week 11: the Colts and the Saints. Keep key Colts players like Daniel Jones, Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr., and TE Tyler Warren. Colts WRs Josh Downs (63.6%) and Alec Pierce (36.5%) can be dropped if you need the spot this week; the Colts face the Chiefs and Texans afterward.
From the Saints, keep Alvin Kamara (93%) and Chris Olave rostered; QB Tyler Shough (1.2%) will probably be available after the bye.
Defense
Baltimore Ravens D/ST (50.8%): Scored only six points vs. the Vikings but has favorable matchups coming up against the Browns and Jets and could be worthwhile as injuries heal.
Miami Dolphins D/ST (1.9%): Barely rostered but posted 11 fantasy points shutting down the Bills on Sunday and faces the Commanders next — a streaming opportunity.
Dallas Cowboys D/ST (4%): Scored double-digit fantasy points in two of the past three games and will face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11; a reasonable streaming pick.
