Week 10 brought an overtime thriller in Germany, huge individual outings, and some disappointing fantasy performances. Jonathan Taylor nearly approached 50 fantasy points, Drake Maye flashed as a rookie, and Matthew Stafford threw four TDs for a third straight game. On the downside, Garrett Wilson and D.J. Moore were held without fantasy points, Sam Darnold struggled, T.J. Hockenson produced little, and Jaxson Dart exited with a concussion after scoring two rushing TDs.
Here are free agents available in at least about half of ESPN standard leagues who deserve attention heading into Week 11. The NFL is a weekly sport — roles shift fast, so add who you need now.
Quarterbacks
– Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals (33.3% rostered): Fresh off the bye, Flacco has been productive, throwing for 342 yards and three TDs in a recent win over Pittsburgh and averaging roughly 25 fantasy points over his last four games. He’s a strong short-term option if your starter hasn’t been consistent.
– J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings (49.6%): Inconsistent but capable of fantasy-relevant rushing production; he scored 14.72 fantasy points last Sunday (48 rushing yards) and has a favorable Week 11 matchup with Chicago after a 22.22-point game in Week 1 vs. the Bears.
Deep-league/streamers/random notes:
– Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers (5.9%): Threw for 23.06 fantasy points filling in vs. the Rams. Brock Purdy’s toe remains a question.
– Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals (17.4%): Will stay starting while Kyler Murray is on IR; posted 19.42 last Sunday and draws the 49ers.
– Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders (11.5%): Reasonable single-week play against Miami after a decent showing in a blowout loss.
– Davis Mills, Houston Texans (2.4%): Led QBs with 27.68 fantasy points after replacing C.J. Stroud. If Stroud (concussion) can’t go vs. Tennessee, Mills is worth streaming.
Running Backs
– Trey Benson, Arizona Cardinals (49.9%): Still on IR with a knee issue and not yet practicing, Benson was expected back sooner. Emari Demercado has been handling work, but Benson remains the longer‑term pick the team prefers — add him once healthy.
– Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons (27.8%): Rushed for two TDs in an OT loss to the Colts and offers the volume typical of a top backup. He’s had several double-digit PPR outings but can disappear some weeks. Upcoming matchups (Panthers, Saints, Jets) are manageable.
– Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans (37.9%): After the bye, Spears is trending up, getting double-digit touches and outscoring starter Tony Pollard in three of four games. He’s rosterable in deeper formats.
Deep-league/streamers/random notes:
– Devin Singletary, New York Giants (10.3%): Timeshare continues, but he’s still useful in certain matchups.
– Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs (47.9%): Could see extra reps if Isiah Pacheco (knee) is limited vs. the Broncos. Playable in the right spot.
– Brian Robinson Jr., San Francisco 49ers (21.2%): Has produced rushing TDs in consecutive weeks; good for touchdown upside.
Wide Receivers
– Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (27.9%): Late-round rookie who’s carved a role and scored two receiving TDs on five targets. He’s averaged about 13.3 fantasy points across five games; Chris Godwin Jr.’s leg situation makes Johnson more relevant.
– Mack Hollins, New England Patriots (0.6%): Quietly broken out recently (seven catches for 89 yards in Week 8, six for 106 this past Sunday). With Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) out, Hollins has short-term value.
– Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars (16.9%): Projected for more snaps with Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) and Travis Hunter (knee) out. He scored a sideline TD and returned a punt for a score and could be productive again vs. the Chargers.
Deep-league/streamers/random notes:
– Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts (36.5%): Deep threat with big-outing upside (18.4 points on Sunday). Colts are on bye Week 11, but Pierce is worth rostering for upcoming weeks.
– Jalen Nailor, Minnesota Vikings (0.5%): Caught five for 124 yards and a TD; only necessary if Justin Jefferson or K.J. Osborn miss time.
Tight Ends
– Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans (27%): Quiet early, but Schultz now has four double-digit fantasy games in five outings and caught 11 targets from Davis Mills in the comeback win. He’s a reliable add regardless of Houston’s QB situation.
– Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (34.8%): After a slow start, Otton has posted four double-digit fantasy games in five weeks and set season highs with nine catches, 82 yards and 12 targets on Sunday. Expect continued target share.
Deep-league/streamers/random note:
– Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (35.2%): Four straight double-digit fantasy games before the bye; useful when available.
Bye Weeks: Keep or Drop?
Only the Colts and Saints have byes in Week 11. Hold Colts core pieces like Daniel Jones, Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr., and TE Tyler Warren. Colts WRs Josh Downs (63.6%) and Alec Pierce (36.5%) can be trimmed if you need the roster spot this week; their upcoming schedule includes tougher matchups.
From New Orleans, retain Alvin Kamara (93%) and Chris Olave. Tyler Shough (1.2%) will likely be available after the bye.
Defense
– Baltimore Ravens D/ST (50.8%): Scored just six vs. Minnesota but has softer matchups ahead (Browns, Jets) and could rebound as injured players return.
– Miami Dolphins D/ST (1.9%): Barely rostered but posted 11 fantasy points vs. Buffalo and draws the Commanders next — a viable streaming choice.
– Dallas Cowboys D/ST (4%): Logged double-digit fantasy points in two of the last three games and faces the Raiders in Week 11; a reasonable short-term pickup.
Bottom line: monitor injuries and usage trends closely. Add players who address immediate needs and those with clear paths to snaps — the playoff push rewards quick, opportunistic adds.
