Canterbury Golf is thrilled to forge a new alliance with Trackman, a frontrunner in golf launch monitor and simulator technology. This exciting partnership designates Trackman as the Official Launch Monitor & Simulator Technology Partner for Canterbury Golf, enhancing various events and programs within the region.
Technology Integration in Golf Competitions
Participants in the Canterbury Stroke Play Championship, Canterbury 4BBB, Canterbury Match Play Championship, and the inaugural Canterbury Masters Stroke Play Championship can anticipate utilizing Trackman technology. Each of these events will feature a TM4 unit in action during one round, alongside a standout “powered by Trackman” hole at upcoming competitions.
Empowering Players with Data
The collaboration will also benefit Canterbury Golf's Representative, Talent Development, and Emerging Player programs, granting access to Trackman’s expert technology. This could involve benchmarking sessions and educational days focused on interpreting vital data and applying insights to enhance player performance.
Promoting Golf Through Simulators
As more individuals get introduced to golf through indoor simulator venues, Canterbury Golf is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between these facilities and affiliated clubs. Together, Canterbury Golf and Trackman plan to implement at least one initiative at Trackman partner simulator locations, which may include introductory experiences for novice golfers and a tournament series for seasoned players. Further information regarding these efforts will be unveiled in the upcoming months.
Moreover, Trackman will actively participate in Canterbury Golf workshops, offering insights on coaching technology, range technology, and the evolving ways that people engage with the sport.
