In partnership with the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), GCash has streamlined the account registration process, which can be completed in just 30 seconds. Additionally, it allows users to cash in funds without incurring any fees from their GCash wallets.
Effortless Crypto Transfers
GCrypto enables seamless cryptocurrency transfers, both between GCrypto accounts and to external wallets or exchanges. This facility is designed to simplify the frequently daunting steps associated with cryptocurrency trading for newcomers, such as account verification, funding, and asset transfers.
Manage Your Assets Anytime
Users of GCrypto can buy, sell, and manage their digital assets anytime, using their mobile devices. The platform features a convenient send-and-receive function, allowing users to transfer cryptocurrencies directly without having to convert them into cash first.
For example, Bitcoin holders can easily transfer their assets from another wallet. They simply have to generate a receiving address or QR code via GCrypto, which they can then use to initiate the transfer.
Once confirmed on the blockchain, the assets are immediately made available in the user's GCrypto wallet. This capability eliminates some of the need for peer-to-peer transactions, as users can fund their trading accounts directly from their GCash balance.
Eligibility and Accessibility
To take advantage of this new service, users need to be at least 18 years old and have their GCash accounts fully verified. Interested users can find the GCrypto option under the Invest section of the app, where they can easily complete the registration process.
