Welcome to The Playbook for Week 10 — a concise guide with projected scores, over/unders, win probabilities, lineup locks and integrated Shadow Report notes to help with season-long and DFS decisions. Recommendations assume standard 12-team PPR settings (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex). Shadow Reports now live inside each game breakdown; they track alignment and likely shadow coverage to refine start/sit guidance.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Denver Broncos — Projected: Broncos 28, Raiders 15
Lineup locks: Ashton Jeanty, J.K. Dobbins, Courtland Sutton, Brock Bowers
Fantasy scoop: Troy Franklin has had three straight games with 8+ targets and sits just behind Sutton in targets, but remains boom/bust despite upside in air yards and end-zone looks. Franklin’s floor is low after several dud weeks.
Shadow takeaway: Upgrade Broncos receivers. The Raiders overhauled their secondary and have recently allowed heavy production to WR rooms; Sutton, Franklin, Marvin Mims Jr. and Pat Bryant should be viewed more positively here. O/U 43.2 — Broncos win 89%.
Atlanta Falcons @ Indianapolis Colts — Projected: Colts 29, Falcons 20
Lineup locks: Daniel Jones, Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Michael Pittman Jr., Tyler Warren, Kyle Pitts Sr.
Fantasy scoop: Kyle Pitts is seeing consistent volume (7+ targets in three straight) and projects well in this matchup where Colts defenses have been vulnerable to tight ends. He’s a TE1 option despite limited goal-line work.
Shadow takeaway: Colts’ revamped perimeter could lead to shadowing looks (Jaylon Jones has shadowed top perimeter threats). Drake London and other Falcons receivers may face tougher assignments; consider caution for wideouts like London and Darnell Mooney. O/U 49.3 — Colts win 80%.
New York Giants @ Chicago Bears — Projected: Bears 28, Giants 27
Lineup locks: Jaxson Dart, D’Andre Swift, Wan’Dale Robinson, Rome Odunze
Fantasy scoop: Giants backfield looks like a near-even committee with Devin Singletary and Tyrone Tracy Jr. Both are flex options; Tracy has slight edge if usage continues.
Shadow takeaway: Paulson Adebo (if back) could shadow Odunze; however, Chicago’s corner injuries make this an overall plus matchup for Giants receivers. Upgrade Giants WRs — Robinson, Darius Slayton and Ray-Ray McCloud III all look playable. O/U 55.2 — Bears win 56%.
Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins — Projected: Bills 30, Dolphins 20
Lineup locks: Josh Allen, De’Von Achane, James Cook III, Jaylen Waddle
Fantasy scoop: Dalton Kincaid remains TD-dependent but productive despite limited targets; he’s a fringe TE1 with upside in a favorable Week 10 spot vs Miami.
Shadow takeaway: Christian Benford could shadow Waddle; historically receivers shadowed by Benford have still scored well. Waddle remains a normal start. O/U 50.5 — Bills win 84%.
Baltimore Ravens @ Minnesota Vikings — Projected: Ravens 28, Vikings 23
Lineup locks: Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Justin Jefferson, Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison
Fantasy scoop: Mark Andrews is touchdown-dependent and has a low targets-per-game rate; treat him as a TD-or-bust TE1 this week.
Shadow takeaway: Nate Wiggins may shadow Jefferson, but Jefferson has produced despite similar matchups in the past — start as usual. O/U 50.5 — Ravens win 67%.
Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets — Projected: Browns 19, Jets 18
Lineup locks: Quinshon Judkins, Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson
Fantasy scoop: Rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr. has shown upside while others missed time; with Njoku back this week, Fannin carries risk despite recent production.
Shadow takeaway: Sauce Gardner’s recent trade changes the Jets’ coverage dynamics; secondary receivers (e.g., Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman if active) benefit from the move, but Jeudy’s season form still warrants bench consideration. O/U 37.4 — Browns win 51%.
New England Patriots @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Projected: Patriots 25, Buccaneers 23
Lineup locks: Drake Maye, Bucky Irving, Emeka Egbuka, Stefon Diggs
Fantasy scoop: TreVeyon Henderson filled in nicely with Rhamondre Stevenson out; if Stevenson remains sidelined, Henderson is a viable RB2 with pass-game appeal. If Stevenson returns, Henderson loses value.
Shadow takeaway: Christian Gonzalez could shadow Emeka Egbuka; Egbuka will see some Gonzalez but also time in the slot, keeping him on WR1/2 radar. O/U 48.2 — Patriots win 56%.
New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers — Projected: Panthers 23, Saints 16
Lineup locks: Rico Dowdle, Chris Olave, Tetairoa McMillan
Fantasy scoop: Rico Dowdle has taken over the Carolina backfield and delivered three big fantasy games; he’s a sure-start RB with a favorable matchup vs the Saints. Chuba Hubbard is no longer the lead.
Shadow takeaway: Matchup favors Carolina’s offense this week; Dowdle is firmly rostered. O/U 38.8 — Panthers win 75%.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans — Projected: Texans 23, Jaguars 19
Lineup locks: Travis Etienne Jr., Nico Collins
Fantasy scoop & shadow: Texans will likely shadow Calvin Ridley/space receivers (Thomas) with Derek Stingley Jr. Historically Stingley and Kamari Lassiter have limited top target production; Jacksonville’s receiver room faces a tough assignment, making players like Thomas and Jakobi Meyers more WR3s this week. Houston’s secondary has been stingy to WRs. O/U 42.2 — Texans win 71%.
Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks — Projected: Seahawks 26, Cardinals 21
Lineup locks: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr., Trey McBride
Fantasy scoop: Kenneth Walker III played more snaps after the bye but remains inconsistent; he’s the preferred RB of the two but more of a fringe RB2.
Shadow takeaway: No major shadow-change flag called out — play the usual WRs. O/U 46.9 — Seahawks win 70%.
Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers — Projected: Rams 28, 49ers 22
Lineup locks: Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jauan Jennings, George Kittle
Fantasy scoop: Jauan Jennings is trending back toward form with increased target share and looks like a solid WR2/3 while Brock Purdy’s status could influence upside.
Shadow takeaway: Typical roles stand; Jennings is playable in PPR formats. O/U 49.7 — Rams win 70%.
Detroit Lions @ Washington Commanders — Projected: Lions 29, Commanders 22
Lineup locks: Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Deebo Samuel, Sam LaPorta
Fantasy scoop: Marcus Mariota will start with Jayden Daniels out; he’s a streaming option in the right spot but this week is a downgrade for Washington’s offense. Deebo is a must-start while Washington’s receivers are thin.
Shadow takeaway: Washington’s secondary has been permissive; upgrade Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams against sketchy coverage. O/U 51 — Lions win 75%.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Los Angeles Chargers — Projected: Chargers 26, Steelers 22
Lineup locks: Justin Herbert, Jaylen Warren, Ladd McConkey, DK Metcalf, Oronde Gadsden II
Fantasy scoop: DK Metcalf has been heavily affected by shadow coverage and has shown boom/bust tendencies; this is a borderline start depending on touchdown reliance.
Shadow takeaway: Chargers’ WRs get an upgrade — Pittsburgh has allowed the most volume and fantasy production to receivers recently, so Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey look playable. O/U 48 — Chargers win 65%.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Green Bay Packers — Projected: Eagles 26, Packers 26
Lineup locks: Jalen Hurts, Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Romeo Doubs, Dallas Goedert
Fantasy scoop: With Tucker Kraft out for the season, Luke Musgrave’s role increases but he’s still a speculative TE add and should be avoided in Week 10 against an Eagles defense that has limited tight end production.
Shadow takeaway: No major shadow disruption; start top Eagles skill players as usual. O/U 51.6 — Eagles win 52%.
Notes on usage: charts in the original guide include all players projected for at least 6.0 fantasy points and list matchup scores using a proprietary metric that factors raw and volume-adjusted fantasy points allowed to each position this season. Rankings and projections will be updated leading up to kickoff; use the integrated Shadow Report notes to identify likely shadow matchups and adjust lineups accordingly.
